Track lighting offers a versatile lighting solution, where multiple lights can be used. Track is highly customisable and can be ceiling mounted, suspended or recessed depending on the setting and preference.
Ceiling track lighting offers the simplest installation as track is fixed directly to the ceiling surface. Suspended track brings the light down to your preferred height, using adjustable suspension wires. Recessed track lighting is a more complex installation and sets track into the ceiling, leaving the ceiling surface uncluttered.
Spaces such as old warehouses or other commercial buildings often suit industrial track lighting. Black track is often used in this interiors to stand out and provide a contrast, especially against brick or other raw surfaces. These types of spaces also often have high ceilings, so suspended track can be used to bring the light level down to a regular ceiling height. Industrial track lighting can help to create defined zones or areas within a large, open plan space.
The LED World range includes black track lighting and white track lighting which is available in a variety of lengths. Using joiners, a track solution can be created in any size, shape or configuration you require.
LED track lights are available in black or white finishes and there are various options to customise your ideal solution. A choice of beam angles allows you to decide how widely or narrowly focused the beam of light from each fitting is spread. Colour temperature is another variable. A ‘warmer’ colour temperature (around 3000K) gives a softer light closer to fire or candlelight, and a ‘cooler’ colour temperature (around 5000K) gives a brighter light more like daylight. Many LED spotlights are dimmable giving the flexibility to adjust the light level depending on the time of day, activity and ambience you want to create.
