Track lighting is a very versatile and customisable lighting solution which allows for multiple lights to be used with simple installation. Track can be ceiling mounted, suspended as pendant track lighting, or recessed, depending on the setting and preference.
Pendant track lighting is suspended from the ceiling using wires. As the wires are adjustable, track can be suspended to your preferred height. Pendant track can be used where ceiling heights are high and light needs to be brought down to a lower level. Pendant track lighting can also provide a decorative feature when positioned over furniture or fittings, for example a dining table or a kitchen island.
Track lighting can be used in many locations around the home, including hallways, bedrooms and living areas. The kitchen is one of the most popular domestic settings. Track lighting is extremely adaptable, with track available in a variety of lengths. A range of joiners can be used to fit track together in any shape and configuration required, from U, T or L shapes to complete circuits that follow the outline of a room or fitted furniture such as kitchen units.
The LED World range includes black track lighting and white track lighting. Pendant track lighting can give an industrial look which works wells in warehouse and industrial style buildings.
LED track lights are also available in black or white finishes. There are other ways to customise your ideal solution. A choice of beam angles is available allowing you to choose how widely or narrowly focused the beam of light from each fitting is spread. Some track lights have an adjustable beam angle. There are also various colour temperatures available. A ‘warmer’ colour temperature (around 3000K) gives a softer light closer to fire or candlelight. A ‘cooler’ colour temperature (around 5000K) gives a brighter light more like daylight. Many LED spotlights are dimmable, giving the flexibility to adjust the light level depending on the time of day, activity and desired ambience.
